Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Recruiter with a strong background in hiring for the accounting and finance industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, screening, interviewing, and endorsing qualified accounting professionals for various roles, including Bookkeepers, Staff Accountants, Property Accountants, Tax Accountants, AP/AR Specialists, Controllers, and other finance-related positions.
The Recruiter should have a solid understanding of accounting functions, technical qualifications, and industry terminology to assess candidates effectively and support hiring managers in finding top talent.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage end-to-end recruitment processes for accounting and finance positions
- Source qualified candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, social media, and other recruitment platforms
- Conduct resume screening and initial interviews to evaluate technical accounting knowledge, communication skills, and cultural fit
- Coordinate interviews between candidates and hiring managers
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of accounting professionals for current and future hiring needs
- Create compelling job advertisements aligned with client or company requirements
- Assess candidate experience in areas such as:
- General Ledger
- Accounts Payable/Receivable
- Bank Reconciliation
- Financial Reporting
- Tax Preparation
- Property Accounting
- Payroll
- ERP and accounting software experience
- Maintain accurate recruitment records and applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process
- Provide regular hiring updates and recruitment reports to management
- Stay updated on accounting industry trends, salary benchmarks, and hiring market conditions
- Support employer branding and recruitment marketing initiatives

Requirements
Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field
- Minimum of 2–5 years of recruitment experience, preferably in accounting and finance hiring
- Proven experience recruiting for accounting-related roles in BPO, outsourcing, staffing, or corporate environments
- Strong understanding of accounting terminology, workflows, and finance-related positions
- Experience using ATS platforms and sourcing tools
- Excellent interviewing, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to assess both technical competencies and soft skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Experience working in a fast-paced recruitment environment
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience recruiting for international clients (US, AU, or UK accounting markets)
- Familiarity with accounting software such as:

- Background in executive search or niche accounting recruitment is an advantage
