What We’re Looking For: Network Administrator II
The Details:
- Location: Remote
- Shift: Wednesday - Sunday, 10:00pm - 7:00am CST (11am - 8pm EST/8pm - 5am PST)
- Pay: $60K - $65K
What You'll Be Doing:
- Taking the lead in monitoring, maintaining, and optimizing client network hardware and software
- Serving as an escalation point for LAN, WAN, VPN, and network security issues (firewalls, IDS, NAC)
- Monitoring, analyzing, and resolving network hardware/software issues with accuracy and speed
- Providing proactive reporting on network health and offering optimization recommendations
- Creating and maintaining detailed documentation of network architecture, VLANs, firewalls, and routing protocols
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting complex network issues
- Communicating effectively with management, team leaders, and clients
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships through excellent service
- Performing other duties as assigned
What You Bring:
- Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s in IT preferred)
- 4+ years of experience in the networking field
- Strong understanding of network administration and security best practices
- Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Certifications & Tools:
- ASTEA familiarity
- A+, Network+, and OEM equipment certifications
- Fortinet, Cisco, Palo Alto, and Meraki certifications
- Experience with ITIL-based support and ITSM platforms
