Senior DevOps Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in automation, monitoring, and cloud-native systems, and will work closely with software development, QA, and operations teams to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable delivery of applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Infrastructure Management – Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

• Automation & CI/CD – Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

• Configuration Management – Use tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to automate provisioning and configuration.

• Monitoring & Performance – Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog) to ensure system health and performance.

• Security & Compliance – Apply security best practices for infrastructure, access control, and application deployments.

• Collaboration – Work closely with developers to streamline deployment processes and troubleshoot issues in staging and production environments.

• Incident Response – Lead root cause analysis, post-mortem reviews, and system recovery procedures.

• Innovation & Best Practices – Stay updated with industry trends and drive continuous improvement in DevOps processes.

Requirements

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• Strong experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).

• Proven track record of managing complex, high-availability systems in production.

Technical Skills:

• Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Proficiency in IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).

• Expertise in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps).

• Knowledge of scripting languages (Bash, Python, Go, etc.).

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog).

• Understanding of networking, security, and load balancing in cloud environments.

Soft Skills:

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
