SAP LMD Consultant

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Designing and optimizing delivery routes, considering factors like delivery time windows, vehicle capacity, and customer locations.
• Managing the execution of routes, including tracking driver progress, managing inventory on vehicles, and handling returns or exchanges.
• Processing route data, generating reports, and settling payments related to deliveries.
• Ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules like Transportation Management (TM) for route planning and SAP S/4HANA Sales for order management.
• Setting up and maintaining master data for customers, routes, visit plans, and other relevant data for DSD routes.
• Identifying and resolving issues related to LMD processes, ensuring smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Arts/Science or equivalent degree in computer science or related area of study
• 4+ years of SAP experience
• In-depth knowledge of SAP SD, LE, and DSD modules is essential.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, particularly with its logistics capabilities, is highly desirable.
• Experience with route planning and optimization tools and techniques.
• Experience integrating SAP with handheld devices for route execution and data capture.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with various teams and stakeholders.
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues related to LMD processes.
• Understanding of business processes related to direct distribution and last-mile delivery.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
