Location:Onsite in Client's Data CentreWorking Hours:0800 to 1600 Monday to FridayAvailability:Ability to work on-call for 24/7 reliability

Security Clearance:UK nationals only for SC clearance

Primary Objective:Ensures the 24/7 reliability, security, and performance of physical and virtual infrastructure. Manage hardware installation, monitor electrical/cooling systems, perform troubleshooting, and coordinate maintenance, acting as first responders to incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Management:Install, configure, and maintain servers, networking devices, and storage equipment
• System Monitoring:Monitor environmental controls (HVAC, temperature, humidity) and power systems (generators, UPS) to ensure optimal operating conditions
• Incident Response & Troubleshooting:Act as first responders to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware and network issues
• Maintenance & Security:Perform routine and preventive maintenance on infrastructure, and adhere to physical security protocols
• Documentation & Reporting:Maintain accurate documentation, including inventory records, change management logs, and incident reports
• 24/7 Reliability:Ensure continuous uptime and performance of physical and virtual infrastructure
• Electrical/Cooling Systems:Monitor and manage electrical systems (generators, UPS) and cooling systems (HVAC)

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience:5+ years of experience in data center operations or related IT infrastructure roles
• Technical Knowledge:Deep understanding of servers, structured cabling, data center environmental systems (power/cooling), and network infrastructure
• Certifications (Optional):CompTIA Server+, CompTIA Network+, or CCNA
• Soft Skills:Strong problem-solving abilities, ability to work on-call, and excellent team collaboration
• Work Location:Must work onsite in Client's Data Centre - West London area
• Working Hours:0800 to 1600 Monday to Friday (with on-call availability for 24/7 support)
• Security Clearance:UK nationals only for SC clearance (British passport, no dual nationality, 5 years continuous UK residency)
