About the Opportunity
DMI, LLC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer – Data Center to join us. The Senior Systems Engineer – Data Center is responsible for leading enterprise, multi-site data center infrastructure initiatives across mission-critical environments. This role requires hands-on technical leadership in data center architecture, migrations, disaster recovery, and operational governance, with close coordination across facilities and network partners.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead multi-data center architecture and infrastructure initiatives
- Plan and execute data center migrations across multiple sites
- Design and oversee rack layouts, power distribution, and cooling strategies
- Direct disaster recovery readiness, failover planning, and continuity planning efforts
- Coordinate closely with OneNet and facility engineering teams to ensure aligned infrastructure and operational execution
- Ensure infrastructure operations align with governance requirements and regulated environment standards
Qualifications
Education and Years of Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience managing multi-site data center infrastructure, including migrations and disaster recovery (within the last 7 years)
Required Skills/Certifications:
- VMware VCP-DCV
- CCNP Data Center
- Strong experience with data center governance and change management
- Familiarity with data center facilities, including power, cooling, and space planning
Min Citizenship Status Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen
