The Inside Sales Development Representative will function as a dual-faceted professional, blending the responsibilities of Inside Sales Representative with those of a sales support/operations representative in our Primary Hospitality Program.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct outreach to new and existing brokers through phone, email, and virtual meetings to support strategic growth initiatives.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen broker relationships, ensuring smooth onboarding, registration, and ongoing support.
- Serve as primary support to Sales Executives and Business Development Managers, managing broker inquiries and determining appropriate next steps.
- Triage broker submissions to determine whether they require Underwriter attention or can be resolved immediately.
- Identify and promote cross‑selling opportunities in collaboration with internal teams.
- Educate brokers on underwriting preferences, product capabilities, and program guidelines.
- Research and identify prospective brokers nationwide, with a focus on independent agents.
- Provide market insights by collecting competitor information and sharing feedback with internal teams.
- Maintain accurate brokerage and contact data in Salesforce.
- Support brokers with portal access and other technology‑related inquiries.
- Coordinate broker events, industry conferences, and internal team meetings.
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Property & Casualty insurance industry, ideally with carriers, MGAs, or brokers.
- P&C insurance license preferred (or required with preparation time permitted).
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
- Strong sales and service orientation; personable and persuasive communication style.
- Excellent analytical, time‑management, and organizational skills.
- Self‑directed, action‑oriented, and effective at problem‑solving.
- Project‑based experience is a plus.
LOCATION
- This is a remote position.
COMPENSATION AND PERKS
- $70,000 - $90,000 base salary plus bonus. Salary commensurate with knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location.
