The Senior Manager, Data Science & Machine Learningfor Cytiva is responsible for leading a team of AI/ML professionals, providing technical guidance and apply strategic vision to drive projects that enhance business outcomes.

This position is part of the Data and Analytics Team located in Poland and will be on-site in Krakow or remote across Poland. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

What you will do:

• Lead a team of data scientists, ML engineers and AI specialists, driving innovation by implementing new AI/ML technologies

• Oversees and coordinates the planning, execution, and completion of AI/ML projects

• Identifying new areas for applying AI technologies for multiple Business Functions

• Cooperate with multiple stakeholders for multiple Business Functions, explaining AI concepts to non-technical audience

• Coordinate collaboration with multiple technical teams ensuring effective cooperation

Who you are:

• Experienced Project Manager with thorough understanding and passion for AI/ML technology

• At least 5 years’ hands on experience in AI/ML technologies including but not limited to: Python, R, platforms (AWS, Azure), MLOps models deployments

• Good knowledge of privacy regulations e.g. GDPR, Artificial Intelligence Act

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, complemented by a People Leader mindset

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science or related field is a plus

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

• Ability to travel – occasional travel in Europe and United States area
