United States onlyDaktronics is looking for an IT Software Development Supervisor to join their team. The supervisor will be responsible for mentoring and coaching team members, fostering their growth and development, and ensuring the IT Development teams are adequately staffed and upskilled on the latest technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Five (5)+ years of experience with supervision, preferably overseeing teams in a technical environment
- Supervision experience of teams consisting of more than 15 employees
- Ability to deal with ambiguity, have difficult conversations, willingness to tackle tough questions, and listening skills
- Experience exercising curiosity, gaining clarity, and offering critique based on thorough understanding of circumstances of conflict
- Ability to hold individuals accountable for high performance while maintaining trust
- Proven ability to coach individuals and teams in continuous improvements
- Effective communication skills, ability to take initiative in proactively communicating to individuals, teams, and leadership
- Strong organizational skills including managing multiple and changing priorities
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgement
- Ability to travel by air and ground. Valid driver's license. Must be able to meet and maintain Daktronics Driving Eligibility Requirements. Motor vehicle records will be checked
- Fluent in English, written and verbal
