What will the work look like for me?
Creative Services Coordinator Students will provide support to our Creative Services department for many types of projects and will be able to translate their work experience into other areas of Daktronics.
- Assist team with evaluating incoming work requests to establish scope, timelines, and budgets to prepare projects for creative execution.
- Attend internal meetings: kick-off, client status, internal creative reviews, and pre-production.
- Enter new display sizes and zones on customer orders into the project management system.
- Produce content creation guides using Adobe In-Design where needed.
- Assist with asset collection to ensure artists are in receipt of necessary assets and make requests for any missing assets.
- Assist team to ensure projects are delivered on time and executed flawlessly.
- Assist team with reviewing and approving artwork.
- Prepare and upload approved files for delivery to the customer.
- Assist team with any additional tasks and research as needed.
- Design content to assist digital artists when demand exceeds capacity.
- Support sales team in selling endeavors with content proposals and demo content.
- Take initiative to understand new Daktronics control technology and how it impacts the Creative Services group and content.
- Send emails and communication with both internal stakeholders as well as potential for customer communications.
- Understand the capabilities and operation of current Daktronics products and software.
- Work with limited daily supervision.
- Perform other duties to meet the changing needs.
When will I work?
Applicants should be available to work approximately 15 hours per week (maximum of 20 hours per week) during the academic year and up to 40 hours per week during the summer.
Where is this opportunity located?
Position has opportunity to work from a South Dakota based home office. This position is open to candidates eligible to work in the U.S.
What are the pay and perks?
The typical hiring range for this position is $14.00 to $15.00 per hour based on the location of South Dakota. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including relevant education, experiences, location, and applicable local legislation.
Students with GPA of 3.5 and above may be eligible for a $500 Academic Excellence Reward for each spring and fall semester completed while employed. Additional conditions may apply.

Qualifications
To be considered for Creative Services Coordinator Student, we require the following:
Academic Requirements:
- The preferred applicant will be a student registered in at least 12 credits
- Applicants must be currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s degree program in Consumer Affairs, Business, Marketing, Sales, Communications, Graphic Design, or other related programs.
- The preferred applicant will be in their sophomore or junior year of school.
- Only strong academic performers will be considered and must maintain an acceptable GPA.
- Unofficial transcripts or web transcripts must be submitted with application.
Other Requirements:
- Good oral and written communication skills, good organizational skills, self-motivation.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to follow processes that are put in place.
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and project management methodologies. Workfront experience is a definite plus.
- Microsoft office experience preferred.
- Willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
