The Sales Development Representative is responsible for researching, qualifying, and setting initial meetings with prospects for the Account Executive team. The role involves collaborating with Marketing and Client Acquisition team members to develop strategies and best practices for prospecting efforts in a B2B environment.
Requirements
- Conduct research to identify new leads and target accounts
- Engage prospects by phone, email and social media to generate interest in Dakota's software products and services
- Qualify leads and prospects by identifying and documenting specific needs relative to Dakota's product offering
- Develop new business opportunities by securing initial meetings for Account Executives with qualified decision makers
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments through web research (trade journals, newsletters, blogs, etc.), trade-shows, webinars, and educational meetings
- Act as an ambassador of Dakota when engaging with clients and prospects
