The Director, Project Engineering position is responsible for providing project leadership for Curia's key capital investments in the Drug Substance and Drug Product network. The individual will manage the execution of capital projects to support Curia's strategic capital initiatives, including projects to expand and modernize the manufacturing infrastructure across the network.
Requirements
- BS in Mechanical/Chemical/Electrical or related Engineering Science
- Minimum fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical engineering (aseptic/sterile product facility), plus five (5) years in a team leadership role of professional-level individual contributors with Project Management and/or Plant Engineering Management experience
- Experience managing major capital projects greater than $10M in total investment
- Expertise in capital project management, including PMP principles and key project control techniques
- Demonstrated aptitude and attitude to become immersed in the resolution of technical challenges and technological advancements
- Proven project management, analytical, problem solving skills
- Strong knowledge of global pharmaceutical regulations
- Excellent relationship management, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to effectively manage and influence cross-functional teams
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to plan, implement, and achieve significant, complex goals and objectives
- Demonstrated leadership with proven success in challenging the status quo
- Strong organizational and planning skills, as well as a high energy level and initiative
- Preferred working knowledge of key pharmaceutical systems
