Experienced Corporate Travel Coordinator

The Travel Coordinator plays a crucial role in managing travel arrangements and ensuring that all related needs for CTI employees are met efficiently and with great attention to detail. This position also supports the administration of policies, procedures, and processes that govern CTI’s global travel program. The coordinator works to facilitate smooth travel experiences while adhering to organizational standards and guidelines.

What You'll Do:

  • Arrange domestic and international travel reservations (airline, hotel, car, rail) for all CTI employees, including issuing tickets, processing ticket exchanges, and ticket voids
  • Manage travel arrangements for business meetings, conferences, training, and events, including coordinating hotel room blocks
  • Provide guidance and recommendations for necessary travel, including vendor selection, routing, accommodation, and special advisories
  • Enter and maintain traveler profiles with accurate and up-to-date information
  • Monitor reservation queues, including online and after-hours queues
  • Assist with obtaining passports and visas when required for international travel
  • Ensure travel arrangements comply with travel policy
  • Obtain the appropriate level of approval for travel arrangements as required
  • Work with vendors to obtain waivers, credits, and refunds as necessary
  • Research traveler issues with vendors and provide prompt resolution
  • Address traveler questions and concerns
  • Assist in creating and maintaining travel reports
  • Make recommendations for travel process improvement and cost savings
  • Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for each supported job function

What You'll Bring:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required, along with experience in corporate travel or hospitality
  • A minimum of four years of full-time experience using Sabre or another GDS in a corporate travel setting
  • Proven experience in arranging domestic and international travel reservations, including airline, hotel, car, and rail, as well as issuing tickets, processing ticket exchanges, and handling ticket voids
  • Skilled in entering and maintaining travel profiles
  • Solid foundation in basic math skills
  • Familiarity with SAP Concur Travel and Expense
  • In-depth knowledge of Sabre and practical hands-on experience preferred
  • Relevant experience in an in-house corporate travel department preferred
  • Experience in using SAP Concur Travel and Expense preferred
  • Strong experience with Excel spreadsheets, including the use of formulas preferred
