The Programme Manager - Legal Co-operation role is responsible for ensuring the development and implementation of the Legal Co-operation Division's activities in public and private law and on independence of justice. The role will contribute to the activities of the European Committee on Legal Co-operation (CDCJ) and its subordinate bodies, as well as the Consultative Council of European Judges (CCJE) and the Consultative Council of European Prosecutors (CCPE).
Requirements
- Hold a higher education degree or qualification equivalent to a master’s degree in law
- Have at least three years of relevant professional work experience in the practice of law
- Have very good knowledge of one of the two official languages of the Council of Europe (English or French) and a basic knowledge of the other (French or English)
- Be a citizen of one of the member States of the Council of Europe
