About the role:

Programs within the domain of infrastructure engineering are cross-functional by nature and include but are not limited to storage products, workload scheduling, automation tooling, software marketplace development, client APis, observability, operations, and release engineering.

The goal of this role is to organize and coordinate the delivery of operational goals in the Infrastructure Engineering organization. The selected candidate will work both within and external to the Infrastructure Engineering organization and have the opportunity to:

  • Drive engineering process and tooling improvements to reduce day-to-day engineering friction.
  • Lead the end-to-end execution of complex programs, encompassing all facets including planning, resource management, risk assessment, and contributor engagement ensuring successful outcomes
  • Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to gather, document, and communicate program requirements, ensuring clarity, feasibility, and alignment with critical objectives.
  • Foster collaboration and effective communication among various teams, including engineering, product management, operations, and business development, to ensure alignment and successful program execution.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to align program objectives and secure necessary resources and support.
  • Identify potential risks and issues throughout the program and proactively communicate to relevant stakeholders in order to drive resolutions and minimize impact.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure program success and effectiveness.

Wondering if you’re a good fit? We believe in investing in our people, and value candidates who can bring their own diversified experiences to our teams – even if you aren't a 100% skill or experience match. Here are some qualities we’ve found compatible with our team. If a portion of this resonates with you, we’d love to talk.

  • You have six or more years of experience in a technical capacity preferably with a background in program or project management.
  • You have a track record of successfully organizing and coordinating the efforts of multiple teams to deliver long-running, complex projects with visibility to senior stakeholders.
  • You are comfortable working in a bottoms-up leadership-style organization that focuses on enablement, communication, organization, and inspiration over task management.
  • You maintain a diverse toolkit of methodologies and practices and preference fitting the tool or methodology to the team where possible.
  • You are good at recognizing when you need help and trust that you will (in a safe environment) ask for it in a timely manner.
  • You are excited about being in position to put your mark on the lives and products of a fast-paced and dynamic organization as it learns to mature under hypergrowth.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $160,000-$180-,000. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
