Job Description:

Account Executive

Phoenix, AZ | Full-time | Remote

BuildZoom Data, a CORA company, is a construction intelligence company that transforms complex permitting, licensing, and construction activity data into actionable insights. We power builders, manufacturers, insurers, and financial institutions with the most comprehensive and accurate view of the construction market by helping them identify opportunities, manage risk, and make smarter decisions. By combining deep industry expertise with advanced data engineering and analytics, BuildZoom Data brings transparency and clarity to one of the world’s largest and most fragmented industries.

We’re looking for a driven Account Executive who thrives on growth, embraces coaching, and brings a relentless commitment to excellence. This role puts you on the front lines of selling BuildZoom’s Data Explorer; a powerful platform that turns building permit data into real competitive advantage. You’ll help companies understand risk, identify high-value opportunities, target the right customers at the right time, understand property and project trends, and ultimately make faster, smarter, data-driven decisions every day.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive base with uncapped commission structure

  • Generous benefits package including health, dental, and vision coverage

Responsibilities

  • Proactively engage targeted prospects through high-volume outbound outreach, creating meaningful conversations that lead to qualified, high-impact meetings

  • Lead compelling product conversations that clearly communicate the value of our data solutions and confidently address questions and objections

  • Take full ownership of the sales journey - from first touch to closed deal - while consistently achieving (and exceeding) activity and revenue goals

  • Execute a proven sales process with discipline, using coaching, feedback, and performance insights to continuously sharpen your craft

  • Keep your pipeline moving forward by maintaining clean, accurate CRM records and driving timely, thoughtful follow-ups

  • Be an expert in objection handling and value storytelling, empowering prospect customers to see how our data helps them make smarter, more profitable decisions

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product and engineering teams to share market insights, refine messaging, and continuously improve how we serve our customers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and a proven record of exceptional sales performance

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience, with a consistent history of exceeding revenue goals

  • A growth mindset - eager to learn new sales systems, comfortable using proven methods, and highly receptive to coaching and feedback

  • Strong technical fluency with CRMs and modern sales tools (including platforms like G-Suite, Aircall, HubSpot, and Salesforce)

  • Clear, confident, and compelling communication on the phone, paired with strong organization and follow-through off the phone

  • A competitive, results-driven mentality that values both personal achievement and team success
