This is a full-time, benefit eligible position. The schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. *Remote position open to Missouri residents only.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and submit information to insurance companies to establish and maintain provider network participation
- Maintain and update credentialing databases, ensuring accuracy of provider credentials and network status
- Complete and monitor primary source verifications and credentialing files for providers
- Serve as a liaison between the organization and insurance companies for roster maintenance and demographic updates
- Support additional administrative and credentialing-related tasks as needed
Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- High School/GED
Working knowledge of various computer programs such as Excel, Word and Adobe X Professional required - Possess good typing, clerical and computer skills, confidentiality skills and an amiable telephone personality
- Effective verbal, written and emotional ability and maturity to deal effectively with multiple stressors, deadlines and difficult situations
- Are highly detail-oriented and take pride in accuracy and organization
- Communicate clearly and professionally with both internal teams and external partners
- Enjoy managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a structured environment
