Capital Planner is responsible for delivering comprehensive cost management, project controls, and capital planning services within the account PMO. The position involves building and managing multi-year capital plans, developing detailed cost estimates, maintaining project budgets, and providing strategic advisory services to optimize client investment decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Strong experience in capital planning, cost management, project controls, or real estate/construction program management.
- Strong understanding of construction economics, real estate finance, and building systems (architectural and MEPFS).
- Proven ability to develop conceptual estimates and manage uncertainty while qualifying assumptions and risks.
- Proficiency with capital planning, project controls, and scheduling tools, including AdaptiveWork.
- Advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint.
- Experience with procurement, tendering, bid analysis, and contractor reconciliations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation capabilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage executive-level clients and external partners.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while working independently and collaboratively.
