CCL Developer

Role Overview

This role is responsible for developing and maintaining advanced CCL scripts, custom mPages, data extracts, reports, and integrations that support clinical workflows, regulatory compliance, analytics, and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Cerner Millennium architecture, the Discern framework, and healthcare data standards, along with a strong understanding of clinical operations and EHR workflows.

What You Will Do

Design, code, test, and debug complex CCL scripts, create and modify advanced reports and data feeds, identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, support EHR implementations, upgrades, and data migrations, develop and maintain custom mPages and mPage components.

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree, or 7 equivalent years of related experience
• 7+ years of experience with Oracle Health (Cerner Millennium) EHR applications
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Expert-level knowledge of Cerner Command Language (CCL) and SQL
• Expert-level knowledge of Oracle Millennium architecture and database schema
• Extensive experience with Discern Expert rules, mPages, mPage components, Discern Analytics 2 (DA2), PowerInsight Explorer, Business Objects (BO), and Operations Jobs
