The Opportunity:

(Please note this role, although remote, requires someone who lives in Poland where a contract of employment will be either B2B or an Employer of Record).

As part of Clarion Digital Media’s continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to support our expanding data and integration initiatives. This role will focus on building scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions using Microsoft Azure technologies, contributing to the transformation of our digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Implement Azure Solutions: Develop scalable, maintainable, and secure cloud solutions. Ensure these solutions integrate seamlessly with existing systems and meet both business and technical requirements.
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: Oversee the deployment, management, and operation of applications on Azure. This includes configuring cloud environments and ensuring optimal performance.
  • Collaboration and Planning: Work closely with engineering and project management teams to plan and execute key software deliveries. Provide Azure cost-optimisation and best practice recommendations. Engage with architects and developers to advise on Azure Cloud configuration to deliver the goals and objectives of the business.
  • Continuous Improvement: Monitor and optimise cloud solutions for performance efficiency. Implement new features and technologies as they become available on the Azure platform whilst keeping the platform coherent. Provide a way to allow for teams to reuse CI/CD processes and Terraform module management.
  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide technical support for cloud-based applications. Diagnose and resolve issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud architectures, processes, and best practices.
  • Governance: Ensure solutions adhere to the Well-Architected Framework.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience as an Azure Solutions Architect or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure cloud services, including Azure Active Directory/Entra, App Services, Event Grid, Service Bus, API Management, Azure SQL Database, and Azure Functions.
  • Experience with cloud automation and orchestration tools (Terraform).
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines managed in Azure DevOps using YAML.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills.

Beneficial Experience

  • Proficiency in C# and .NET 8/10.
  • Experience with Dataverse and Power Platform integrations.
  • Familiarity with the TOGAF architectural framework.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Azure Solutions Architect Expert
  • Azure Administrator Associate
  • TOGAF Certified
