What You’ll Be Doing
Plan, direct, and coordinate activities to manage and implement programs from contract/proposal through transition into business‑as‑usual
Ensure programs are managed to achieve business benefits aligned with technical developments and organisational priorities
Take full responsibility for defining, documenting, and delivering complex projects with significant business impact
Select and apply appropriate delivery methodologies (predictive, agile, or hybrid)
Ensure effective project control, change management, risk management, and testing processes
Monitor resources, revenue, and capital costs against budgets and manage stakeholder expectations
Define policy and standards for the management and monitoring of portfolios, programs, and projects
Lead large‑scale improvement programs to enhance performance and organisational capabilities
Identify and initiate capability improvements to address new business opportunities or external drivers
Select frameworks and techniques to assess organisational capabilities and lead implementation of solutions
Deliver measurable improvements in operational effectiveness and evaluate trends to determine capability needs
Promote new ways of working that respond to evolving technologies and business models
Lead organisational design initiatives to improve structures, culture, and business outcomes
Plan and lead organisational design activities, assess feasibility, and recommend solutions
Identify major organisational changes, define future organisational boundaries, and lead implementation
Outline performance measurement objectives and high‑level implementation approaches
Ensure new technical capabilities are integrated into the business with appropriate planning and stakeholder engagement
Initiate and manage business implementation plans for new technology or components
Ensure site-level implementation plans align with the overall program plan and track progress
Define and manage activities to ensure achievement of projected business benefits
Develop key business engagement messages and promote program vision across the organisation
Work with operational managers to ensure improvements are realized as projects transition into operational use
Maintain business cases and ensure continuing viability of programs
Manage and coach the Agile Release Train (ART) as Release Train Engineer (RTE), in full alignment with SAFe responsibilities
Up to 20% domestic and international travel to support global engineering teams
What We Look For
BA, BS or equivalent; PMP preferred
Demonstrated project & program management experience within a technical environment
Several years of relevant business experience (project manager and/or similar role)
SAFe RTE Certification or equivalent preferred
8–10 years of Program or Senior Project Management experience in software engineering or IT infrastructure
2–4 years’ experience in a regulated industry with emphasis on project management
Strong understanding of Program Life Cycle management, SDLC, and software/infrastructure deployment complexities
Demonstrated ability to mentor staff, manage teams, and delegate effectively in a matrix environment
Excellent organisational, interpersonal, time management, and prioritisation skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including effective communication in English
Detail‑oriented with strong responsiveness to requests and inquiries
Based in or able to work from Hungary (hybrid environment)
