Position Overview:
As a Software Architect at CI&T, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing robust software solutions that drive our digital transformation efforts. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create technical specifications, ensuring our applications meet both business and technical requirements. This position is pivotal in enhancing our offerings and delivering exceptional user experiences through innovative technologies.

Familiarity with the store systems platform and DomOs applications.
Ability to provide translation and shared context between business needs and development teams.
Experience in disseminating information on features in an easily understandable manner for stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solutioning: Understand business and technical requirements, validating solutions against existing functionality for diverse international use cases.
- Technical Specification Development: Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications for new features.
- Documentation Collaboration: Work alongside solution architects to develop and maintain comprehensive solution documentation, including API specifications and design models.
- User Experience Design: Partner with product designers to enhance the user experience within our applications.
- Development Guidance: Lead hand-off meetings, providing detailed solution specifications and guidance throughout the development lifecycle.
- Acceptance Testing: Perform acceptance testing of completed features and assist in diagnosing issues with applications and services.
- Data Analysis: Analyze current store configurations and collaborate on data migration strategies and tools.
Must-have Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Information Technology, or related fields.
- Minimum of three years of applicable IT experience working on large application initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with the ability to engage in business and technical discussions.
- Strong comprehension of complex technical concepts and the ability to communicate them effectively.
- Experience with web-based application development, preferably in an agile environment.
- Experience in diagnosing application issues and familiarity with log review; experience with Splunk is a plus.
- Working knowledge of RESTful APIs, with experience in OpenAPI and Postman being advantageous.
- Proficient in working with JSON files and understanding database concepts.
- Knowledge of one or more programming languages; C# experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux operating systems is advantageous.
- Independent troubleshooting and problem management skills.
- Knowledge of UML or similar modeling languages is a plus.
