We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer with a robust background in software quality assurance and automation testing. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in modern automation frameworks and tools, thrive in a complex work environment with multiple stakeholders, and possess excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with both development teams and clients. Fluency in English is essential for daily interactions and intensive discussions.
Key Responsibilities
- Test Automation Development: Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, JUnit, or similar frameworks to ensure comprehensive test coverage and efficiency;
- Quality Assurance Strategy: Develop and execute a robust testing strategy, focusing on both functional and non-functional testing (performance, security, etc.) to guarantee product quality and reliability;
- Collaboration with Development Teams: Engage with development teams to understand application architecture and technical specifications, providing feedback and insights related to quality assurance during the development lifecycle;
- Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline to ensure quick and reliable feedback on code changes, enhancing overall development speed and product delivery;
- Documentation and Reporting: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for automated tests, test plans, and testing results, providing clear communication to stakeholders regarding quality metrics and issues.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality assurance and automation testing;
- Proven experience in developing automated tests and implementing testing frameworks;
- Familiarity with backend architecture and integration of automated tests in complex systems.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or C# for writing automation scripts.
- Strong understanding of testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
- Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and database testing (SQL and NoSQL).
- Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Travis CI) is a plus.
Soft Skills
- Excellent communication skills in Portuguese and English (both written and verbal).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment and adapt to changing project requirements.
