Automation Developer at CI&T, you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and deploying robust automation solutions that enhance our operational efficiency. You will primarily leverage UIPath products for standard orchestrations, AI, and agentic automation, and will also develop processes using Python. A strong understanding of Git for source control is essential. This role requires a high degree of independence, as you will be expected to drive projects with minimal oversight, contributing significantly to our small but impactful team.
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring & Maintenance:
- Monitor existing automation orchestrations to ensure optimal performance and identify potential issues.
- Handle bug fixes and apply necessary enhancements to existing automation processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in deployed automations in a timely manner.
Solution Design & Development:
- Design, develop, and implement automation solutions using UIPath products, including standard orchestrations, AI, and agentic automation capabilities.
- Write and maintain automation scripts and processes in Python using VSCode.
- Translate business requirements into efficient and scalable automated workflows.
- Ensure solutions are well-documented and adhere to best practices.
Code Management & Quality:
- Utilize Git and GitHub for all source control, including branching, merging, and pull requests.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of automation solutions to ensure high quality and reliability.
- Participate in peer code reviews, providing constructive feedback and ensuring adherence to coding standards.
Independent Project Management:
- Work independently to manage the full lifecycle of automation projects, from initial concept to deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- Prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines.
- Proactively identify opportunities for automation and propose innovative solutions.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate with various stakeholders across different departments to understand their automation needs.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for deployed automation solutions.
- Qualifications:
- Proven experience in developing and deploying automation solutions.
- Strong proficiency with UIPath products for various automation types (orchestration, AI, agentic).
- Demonstrable understanding and practical experience with Git and GitHub for source control.
- Ability to work independently, taking ownership of projects and delivering results with minimal supervision.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bonus Points:
- Solid programming skills in Python, with experience using VSCode
- Experience with other automation platforms or tools.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
- Experience with business process automations with a focus on ERP.
- Experience with SAP S/4 Hana
