India onlyJob Role: We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Manual Tester to join our QA team in a replacement capacity. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of functional and integration testing, experience with the JIRA tool, and strong communication skills. Mobile testing knowledge is a plus. The candidate must be capable of handling client communication independently and ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the testing lifecycle.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Perform functional and integration testing based on project requirements.
- Execute manual test cases and log defects using JIRA.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure test coverage and quality.
- Support mobile testing when needed.
- Communicate with clients independently for clarifications and updates.
- Provide regular test status reports and participate in test planning.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong in manual testing, including functional and integration testing.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA or similar defect tracking tools.
- Basic understanding of mobile application testing (good to have).
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written.
- Ability to handle client communication independently.
- Strong in manual testing concepts, including test case design, execution, defect lifecycle, and regression testing.
