We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented QA Engineer with a strong foundation in manual and functional testing, and a passion for embracing AI-driven solutions in quality assurance. This role demands a night shift commitment to align with US business hours and involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams including Product, Support, and Development. The ideal candidate is eager to learn automation and AI technologies, and contribute to an evolving QA strategy that prioritizes innovation and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual and functional testing across web and mobile platforms to ensure product quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with US-based teams during CST hours to understand requirements, report issues, and ensure timely resolution.
- Adopt and contribute to an AI-first QA strategy, leveraging AI tools and techniques to enhance test coverage and efficiency.
- Document test cases, test plans, and detailed bug reports with clarity and precision.
- Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to align QA efforts with development cycles.
- Continuously learn and apply automation frameworks and AI tools used by the QA team.
- Provide feedback on usability, performance, and edge cases to improve overall product quality.
- Shift Timing: Night Shift (up to 12:30 AM IST / 2:00 PM CST)
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in manual/functional QA testing.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with US-based stakeholders.
Willingness and ability to learn automation and AI tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright, Test.ai, etc.). - Ability to work independently during night shifts and manage priorities effectively.
- Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exposure to AI-powered QA tools or frameworks.
- Basic understanding of automation scripting in languages like Python or JavaScript.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).
