Thousands of organizations across the country rely on CLI to help them communicate with a growing demographic of Limited English Proficient (LEP) speakers.The available position is 100% over-the-phone interpretation.CLI handles a high volume of calls, most of which are medical. We serve industries including insurance, financial, utility companies, customer service, and state courts.CLI employs freelance interpreters (independent contractors). This is a work-from-home position, allowing you to set your own schedule. Clients need interpreting services 24/7, and you can provide your service anytime via our online portal or landline telephone.You must meet all legal work requirements in the U.S. (SSN or EIN & Photo ID) and reside in the U.S.Payment is on a per-minute basis, with interpreters paid for every minute on the call. Payments are issued twice monthly, on the 15th and last day, via direct deposit or check.A Language Assessment is required; details will be provided later.Minimum two years of professional interpreting experience required, preferably over the phone.Currently, we are not recruiting in New York or California.
