The primary purpose of this position is to actively participate in the design, integration, and delivery of a wide range of technology solutions to clients. This position will also provide mentorship, guidance and technical leadership to engineers and associate engineers. Integrate and deliver a wide range of technology solutions providing high quality content deliverables ensuring solution is implemented as designed to the client’s satisfaction and approval.
What you will do:
- Provide technical leadership to the Azure Cloud Managed Services Team and level 2 and 3 support for cloud managed services customers. Work through an on-call rotation with team members to cover cloud managed services accounts. Serve as technical escalation point for Azure Managed Services Resources.
- Regularly interface with technical and business staff of customers, including the project sponsor and stakeholders of projects in more complex engagements. Mentor other engineers to apply engineering background knowledge for project design, analysis, and project coordination of services or products.
- Collaborate with internal teams and customers to execute technical change implementations and problem resolutions, manage expectations and timelines to ensure expectations and commitments are being met.
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools to support cloud deployment strategies.
- Serve as a collaborative support across internal teams and clients when necessary, using experience and judgment to communicate effectively to all parties.
- Serve as technical point of contact on customer engagements taking control of complex or vague problems and coordinating resolutions in a rational way.
- Assist in infrastructure automation efforts using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
- Provide customer support and delivery excellence for cloud design, management, automation, and integration within Azure environments, perform routine monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Azure environments.
What we expect of you:
- Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years total Information Technology experience, to include experience in delivering complex technical solutions, including planning, development, implementation, and support. Or, 9+ years total Information Technology experience, to include experience in delivering complex technical solutions, including planning, development, implementation, and support.
- Candidate must demonstrate the ability to multitask and prioritize workload under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment and able to manage and escalate technical issues to the appropriate vendor support team.
- Possess strong organizational, time-management, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
- Ability to design and architect various types of infrastructure solutions and perform advanced installation and configuration services. Knowledge of vendor-supplied brands is also required.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, with the ability to effectively interact with leadership stakeholders and clients. Candidate should maintain a professional, business-focused attitude and courteous manner towards clients, partners, and peers.
- Ability to identify and deliver technical documentation that meets client-defined expectations. Strong attention to detail, especially client and project changes, and have demonstrated analytical skills to identify potential risks.
- Experience balancing competing priorities with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of the business while meeting deadlines. Should have demonstrated experience applying lessons learned to unique problems and a history of reskilling on new technologies with the ability to determine benefits for clients.
- Able to work beyond their regularly scheduled shift, select weekends, overtime as necessary or on occasion to meet operational needs.
- Additional Microsoft certifications such as AZ-305, AZ-700, or SC-300, a plus.
- Experience with scripting languages like PowerShell or Python, a plus
- Exposure to cloud automation and DevOps methodologies, a plus.
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and service management best practices, a plus.
- Experience working within an Agile team environment, a plus.
Payrange: $94,000- $150,180depending on experience and skill set
Annual bonus target of10%subject to terms and conditions of plan
