Position Summary: Primary responsibilities include reviewing, analyzing, designing, programming, testing, debugging, and documenting new and current applications. Provides support to IT Operations for Change Controls. This position may require Microsoft Domain Administrative Access.

The successful candidate will report directly to the Director, Information Technology. The position location is flexible, but the placement must be willing to travel a few times a year.

Responsibilities

    • Maintains current applications for business continuity.
    • Works as part of a SCRUM team for project delivery and also provides 24x7 support for production systems.
    • Participates in the deployment of after-hours software releases (authors CRs and implementation plans), troubleshooting of issues with deployments to resolution.
    • Willingness to learn additional technologies as CCS develops its technology infrastructures.
    • Excellent working knowledge on Agile Methodologies
    • Works with other IT team members to resolve application performance, design, and other related data issues.
    • Works well in a fast-paced, growing company environment that has a wide range of possible daily activities and demanding business structure.
    • Self-starter who can function independently and handle multiple priorities on a day-to-day basis.
    • Maintains a high degree of confidentiality at all times due to access to sensitive information.
    • Maintains regular, predictable, consistent attendance and is flexible to meet the needs of the department
    • Follows all Medicare, Medicaid, HIPAA, and Private Insurance regulations and requirements
    • Abides by all regulations, policies, procedures and standards

Qualifications

    • 2-4 years of experience in Development experience
    • Education – Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Information Systems from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
    • Excellent working knowledge of Systems Development Life-Cycle in information systems and software design
    • Experience in Java and/or Scala with 2-4 years of experience developing scalable, high-performance applications.
    • API development for internal and external API integration.
    • Knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft SQL database.
    • Experience in building responsive, user-friendly single page applications (SPAs) using Angular 12+ and TypeScript.
    • Working knowledge in RESTful API development, utilizing best practices for security, scalability, and performance.
    • Demonstrated proficiency of relational database management systems, with proficiency in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server, including database design, query optimization, and programming.
    • Experience writing unit tests for Java/Scala programs and Angular/TypeScript applications.
    • Experience with microservices architecture, including design, development, and deployment of independently scalable and maintainable services.
    • Proficiency using Git for source code management and collaborative development.
    • Familiarity with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and automated testing and deployment tools such as Jenkins.
    • Understanding of web technologies and protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, WebSockets), including security best practices (OAuth, JWT).
    • Familiarity with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, for development, testing, and deployment.
    • Familiarity with Java/Scala web application frameworks, such as Scalatra, Spring, or Play.
    • Excellent working understanding of the information technology environment
    • Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
    • Knowledge of current trends and developments in information technology
    • Solves practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
    • Strong organizational planning and development skills
    • Excellent communication (verbal and written), interpersonal, and organizational skills required. Ability to write technical, user, and proposal type documentation.
    • Experience in time management, information management and situational awareness
