United States onlyCatFace is seeking a talented Shortform & Ad Scriptwriter to assist our Marketing team in creating scripts for ads and shorts, across our Shuki, Aphmau, and Stories channels.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience as a scriptwriter or in a similar creative role
- Proven experience writing for young adult or children’s media
- Ability to write dialogue, edit, and proofread
- Familiarity with Minecraft lore and ability to integrate gaming culture references into storytelling
- Knowledge of Blockbuster mod (not required but ability to learn necessary)
- Understanding of YouTube gaming content trends and platform dynamics
- Passion for gaming, animation, and digital storytelling
- Analytical mindset to apply viewer insights and/or video metrics into increased content engagement
- Ability to manage individual projects independently and collaborate with producers, editors, and creative leads
- Efficient communication and timely follow-up
- Availability to coordinate and communicate during core business hours 9:00am - 5:30pm CT (GMT-6:00)
- Must be at least 18 years old
