As we enter into an exciting stage of growth for the company, we are looking for a talented and passionate Accounts and Administration Assistant to join our Finance team.
About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts & Administration Assistant to join our growing team. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will play a key role in supporting our finance and HR functions. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational skills, a keen eye for accuracy, and a desire to develop within a dynamic business environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Supporting daily finance operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations
· Using Xero for bookkeeping, invoicing, and financial reporting
· Processing expense claims and receipts via Dext
· Assisting with payroll and HR administration through Rippling
· Maintaining accurate records, databases, and filing systems
· Assisting the Head of Finance with month-end and year-end processes
· Handling administrative tasks such as correspondence, scheduling, and documentation
· Assisting the Head of Finance with finance duties on group companies in the USA and Spain
· Supporting ad-hoc finance and admin projects as required
What We’re Looking For
· Previous experience in a finance or administrative role (experience with Xero, Dext, and Rippling is highly desirable)
· Strong numerical and analytical skills with great attention to detail
· Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
· Confident in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· A self-starter who is proactive, reliable, and adaptable
· A positive, professional attitude with a strong sense of accountability

You thrive on collaboration and enjoy working with cross-functional teams.

Requirements
Required Skills and Experience
3–5 Years of Experience in a finance role, ideally within a retail or e-commerce brand
AAT qualified or qualified by experience in a relevant finance role
Experience in working independently, demonstrating awareness of monthly deadlines
Experience in Xero, Dext and Rippling systems is preferred but not essential
Experience with carrying our HR administration tasks is beneficial but not a deal breaker
Excellent Communication Skills: Comfortable working cross-functionally with different teams
Attention to Detail: Demonstrated commitment to excellence in following processes, down to the smallest detail.
