Job Purpose and Impact

The Technical Services Specialist will collaborate with a team to meet business and account goals. In this role, you will identify and execute new business development projects, lead, prioritize and report on the associated portfolios and drive process improvements using available supporting tools and metrics.

Key Accountabilities

• Develop strong customer relationships at partner distributors.
• Participate with sales managers to execute customer support providing product, application, ingredient processing expertise, and training.
• Leverage salesforce for project and activity tracking.
• Facilitate applications development work to deliver on customer needs.
• Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Minimum of two years of related work experience
• Ability to travel domestically 20% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to develop customer relationships and trust through technical knowledge and expertise
• Basic knowledge of ingredient interaction within food systems
