Position Summary: The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for assisting pharmacists, managers, directors, and front line client support in providing quality patient care and customer service. The Pharmacy Technician coordinates with the Director of Clinical Services to facilitate pharmacy clinical programs and services and support telepharmacy operations. The Pharmacy Technician may assist in other roles and projects as assigned by the Director of Clinical Services.
Hours/Schedule: hours will vary between 8am-11pm Eastern, based on the needs of the team and availability
PerformanceObjectivesandResponsibilities:

Assist with clinical services, such as medication reconciliation, prior authorization, refill authorization, etc.
Obtains and documents complete and accurate medication histories of patients.
Clarify information with patients, prescribers, caregivers, and pharmacies when needed.
Provide exceptional customer service each day in a phone-based environment, handling inbound and outbound calls to/from patients, caregivers, and providers.
Resolve customer concerns and provide appropriate follow-up and next steps for the caller.
Assist with TSS staffing services including order triaging, phone call answering, and other duties as assigned by the Director of Clinical Services.
Assist pharmacists through queue monitoring, data entry and prescription transcription in Pharmacy Information Systems, submit insurance claims, transferring prescriptions in accordance with applicable laws, etc.
