What You’ll Do
Burwood is currently seeking a Sr. Project Manager to lead the Firmwide Tools Evaluation for one of our key clients in the accounting industry. This engagement will determine the future direction of three enterprise-wide platforms, project management software, support desk solutions, and client portal/document management with decisions targeted by Q1 2026.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate firmwide tool evaluation and decision-making processes.
- Drive structured stakeholder engagement across business units to ensure adoption and alignment.
- Support contract negotiation, vendor evaluation, and future-proofing considerations (e.g., AI enablement, scalability, long-term usability).
- Collaborate with client leadership to document path forward decisions and manage exceptions for business-specific cases.
- Provide structured recommendations to client executives, ensuring transparency, rigor, and objectivity.
- Ensure program-level governance and communication for all stakeholders, from executives to end users.
Who You Are
- 8+ years of project/program management experience, ideally in professional services or accounting-related industries.
- Demonstrated ability to lead enterprise tool evaluations and firmwide decision processes.
- Strong experience with vendor selection, RFPs, and contract negotiations.
- Skilled in engaging executive-level stakeholders and facilitating alignment across complex organizations.
- Familiarity with AI, cloud, and future-proofing considerations in enterprise technology selection.
- Comfortable delivering under fixed-fee models with accountability for outcomes.
- Strong presentation and communication skills; able to package findings into executive-ready outputs.
