Buckinghamshire Mind

Buckinghamshire Mind is an independent charity that has been providing mental health services for over 110 years. Founded in 1914, the organization has grown from humble beginnings into a trusted charity delivering high-quality community-based services across Buckinghamshire and East Berkshire. With offices in High Wycombe and Chesham, they provide a diverse range of services including talking therapies, crisis support through Safe Haven, peer support groups, counselling for adults and young people, and mental health training.

As an affiliated member of the national Mind network, Buckinghamshire Mind shares the vision that everyone experiencing a mental health problem gets both support and respect. They promote wellbeing and recovery, prevent mental ill health, and provide vital support in times of crisis. Their services directly impact thousands of lives annually - supporting over 6,800 people in 2024-25, with 92% of service users reporting reduced isolation. The charity employs approximately 70 staff supported by 218 volunteers, demonstrating their significant community presence and commitment to creating a mentally healthy society.
