Job title: Global Head of Digital Sales (Product Certification)

Location: UK, EMEA and/or AMAS - remote

BSI's Digital Trust Product Certification is a crucial aspect in today’s digital landscape, serving as a testament to organisational commitment in maintaining integrity, security, and transparency in their digital product development and operations. It instils confidence among users and stakeholders, helping organisations stand out in various vertical markets whilst demonstrating compliance with both existing and upcoming global digital trust regulations and directives.

The Role

In this leadership position, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the Global Digital Trust Product Certification (DTPC) portfolio, meeting the specific needs and requirements of a diverse range of clients and sectors across the globe. You will drive commerciality within the DTPC strategy through the creation and implementation of go-to-market plans, whilst supporting and developing an effective roadmap for new solutions across all relevant sectors. In addition, you will drive thought leadership and innovation in the digital testing and certification ecosystem whilst making us the commercial partner of choice for organisations. In addition, you will support regional commercial directors by delivering new sales revenues, trading tactics and plans that create purposeful value propositions.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Pro-active leadership of the global Digit Trust and Product Certification portfolio to ensure achievement of sales targets and delivery of business objectives.

  • To review, define and lead the sales team to meet targets and objectives in:

    • Connectable products

    • Cybersecurity testing and certification services

    • Digital Identity, Electronic Identification and Trust Services

    • Software cybersecurity testing and certification services

    • Digital Built environment.

    • AI Cybersecurity, and more.

  • Identify new market opportunities and develop specific go to market initiatives and strategies.

  • Provide dedicated hands-on training related to Digital Trust products.

  • Represent BSI at exhibitions, committees, seminars, industry trade bodies and similar events.

  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships across regions and functions.

  • Occasional travel nationally and internationally will be required.

Experience & Expertise

  • Expertise in Digital Trust Product Certification sales, products, regulations and directives including ETSI, PSTI and CRA.

  • Proven experience in business development including lead generation and prospecting.

  • Expertise in Digital Trust Product Certification sales, products, regulations and directives.

  • Proven experience in leading and managing field sales teams.

  • Excellent commercial awareness and business acumen.

  • Knowledge of business processes and the application of Quality Management Systems (QMS).

  • Regulatory or professional services experience.
