Purpose of the Role

ISA Business development manager, Greater China is a high-impact role driving BSI’s ISA strategy and market growth across the region. This position shapes the commercial go-to-market approach, ensuring solutions deliver measurable value, strengthen client trust, and set the benchmark for sales excellence.

The role leads efforts to position BSI as the partner of choice for risk management and supply chain resilience, leveraging innovation and digital transformation to stay ahead in a fast-changing regulatory landscape. Working closely with Marketing, Operations, and global teams, it orchestrates integrated solutions that accelerate sales growth in Greater China.

Key Responsibilities

1.Strategic Leadership & Business Growth

  • Develop and execute the Greater China ISA go-to-market strategy aligned with BSI’s business priorities, focusing on growth, scalability, and service differentiation.
  • Identify priority market sectors and engage directly with clients and industry stakeholders to formulate new opportunities and expand BSI’s reach.
  • Identify and align the Key Accounts for ISA focus in Greater China based on potential sales growth and strategic alignment.

2. Key Account Client Relationship Development

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with nominated key clients for ISA services, ensuring their needs are met with tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate with local Sales and Marketing teams to develop strategic account plans for nominated accounts, generate and monitor pipeline, and ensure long-term business partnerships.
  • Leverage client feedback to enhance services, improve engagement, and drive customer retention.

3. Financial Performance & Budget Management

  • Own the ISA sales budget for Greater China, generating new business, maintaining existing ISA accounts and optimizing and influencing existing sales resources to maximize ROI.
  • Track and report key financial and sales forecasting metrics for ISA, ensuring alignment with regional and organizational targets.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing, and Operations teams to align BSI solutions with market demands and strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate with BSI’s Global Internal and Supplier audit teams and other internal stakeholders to understand service and organizational priorities and strategy. Participate in cross-stream marketing and sales initiatives.

Knowledge and Experience

Strong knowledge of new business develops with GTM experience in new industry and clients.

Familiarize with risk management, supply chain audits, and regulatory compliance.

Experience in the Certification (TIC) industry or similar sectors.

Proven track record in business developing and executing sales strategies.

Skills and Abilities

Strong commercial acumen with the ability to drive sales excellence and align with organizational growth objectives.

Strong sales skills in managing client relationships, ensuring sales excellence and business growth.

Experience in negotiating contracts and service agreements.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in operations, business management, or a related field.

Relevant sales experience within a complex, and mature organisation, driving change and transformation to achieve business results

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Sales and Revenue: GC Total ISA New Sales FP2026: 1,011K GBP
  • Effective maintenance of CRM: ensure accuracy of ISA sales forecasting and management of all leads, opportunities and accounts in line with BSI standards.
  • Compliance & Quality: Adherence to industry regulations and internal audit standards.
