About the Job:
This is a support-focused role within the Construction and Renovation department, designed to ensure the smooth and accurate administration of the construction draw process for a portfolio of active renovation and construction loans. As a key operations and servicing team member, you’ll work behind the scenes to support the broader construction and loan servicing teams, contractors, and inspectors by ensuring the logistics, documentation, and compliance required for each construction draw. You’ll also provide back-up coverage across the construction and renovation servicing team, with responsibilities that include risk management and overall loan servicing support. Your work will directly impact borrower experience, internal operations, and risk mitigation, making attention to detail, communication, and collaboration essential for success.

Responsibilities:
When performing back-up coverage for other relationship managers: manage assigned portfolio of loans with emphasis on:
- Quality Assurance: Check yourself, check your teammates, check, and triple-check. Whether you’re reviewing loan modifications or initiating wire transfers, you’ll need to work with a high level of accuracy and operational integrity.
- Collaboration: You’ll be working with other Relationship Mangers as well as internal departments like Sales, Accounting, and IT daily, so we really can’t stress enough how important it is for you to be a great communicator and team player.

You’ll also be in daily correspondence with people outside the company, so an understanding of our processes and guiding principles is expected.

Responsible for mitigating risk in Construction Portfolio assigned including:
- Coordinate initial third-party inspections and validate completion before performing a draw disbursement.
- Perform quality control on other relationship managers’ draw requests, ensuring accuracy and alignment with the budget and project timeline.
- Maintain detailed documentation for all draw transactions.
- Perform daily draw imports to ensure timely submission of draw releases.
- Ensure compliance with loan terms, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
- Assist with periodic report reviews and team projects
- Collaborate with underwriting, loan servicing, and risk management teams to support the successful management of construction loans
- Coordinating disaster inspections and borrower outreach for impacted areas Extension Processing
- Update extension records with executed extension agreement documents
- Update system records with new extension terms

Payment Collections:
- Assist with the set-up of ACH for borrowers
- Processing payments and return payments as needed

Payoff:
- Ensure payoff quotes are timely and correct
- Work with Title/Escrow Companies as needed to ensure payoff amounts are correct

Make Risk Based decisions for the good of the Client, the Company and the Note Owner

Requirements

About You:

You’re experienced in loan servicing and construction draws with a proven track record of creative problem solving, good judgment and risk assessment, and a focus on customer relationships. You’re driven, tech-savvy, easily adaptable to industry changes, and are comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-growing workplace. You’re relentlessly proactive and organized, and pitch in to help your team members when they need it.

 Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Construction Management, or a related field preferred
 2+ years of experience in construction loan administration, project management, or a similar role
 Familiarity with loan servicing, construction lending, draw processes, and inspection protocols
 Commitment to building relationships with customers, vendors, team members and investors
 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
 Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 Understanding of lien waivers, change orders, and construction progress evaluations
 A willingness to hustle, learn, and adapt quickly to working in a fast-paced, fluid environment
 Able to maintain composure in stressful situations including dealing with difficult customers
 Proficiency in loan servicing software and Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Excel, Word, etc.)
