Billing Analyst (ZR_25006_JOB)

This is a remote position.

• Call providers to confirm the final balance as well as all payments and adjustments on all related medical bills.
  
• Send fully executed HIPAAs to providers when necessary.
  
• Review lien search website for related liens and notify the appropriate parties.
  
• Evaluate the case to determine if medical payments coverage applies and notify the Case Manager or Medpay Coordinator when necessary.
  
• Assess and notify the appropriate person(s) if any other coverage is discovered, including but not limited to, an additional health insurance or worker’s compensation.
  

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent required, Associate’s degree preferred.
  
• Two years’ relevant experience in a professional, customer-centric role required; professional experience in a legal or medical environment preferred.
  
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of tools required; knowledge of Case Management software (e.g., Needles/Filevine) preferred.
  
• Maintains exceptionally high standards of integrity and confidentiality.
