We are actively seeking a talented Senior Platform System and Network Engineer specialising in messaging and with a strong knowledge of Kafka. Your role within our platform team is crucial to ensuring the performance, availability, scalability, and lifecycle of our Kafka clusters.

As Senior Platform Engineer, your will:
- Manage multiple queuing platforms, with a strong focus on Kafka
- Maintain various infrastructure components in Brevo.
- Provide on-call support for platform components.
- Design and maintain the queuing platform.
- Participate in the RFC/ADR review process.
- Work with automation tools like Ansible or Terraform (a plus).
- Utilize DevOps and SRE tools for monitoring, logging, and automation.
- Be a strong team player.
What will contribute to your success:
- 5+ years of experience in distributed platforms.
- At least 2 years of experience working with Kafka.
- Knowledge of Redis and RabbitMQ (strong plus).
- Strong knowledge of Linux Scripting skills.
- Basic networking knowledge
