The Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Marketing & Events Lead to join our team on a temporary parental leave contract (approximately 3 months). This role is ideal for a strategic marketer who thrives on managing events, developing strong client relationships, and creatively repurposing content across digital channels.
You’ll take ownership of our events program—virtual and in-person—including end-to-end execution, speaker coordination, and client relationship management. You’ll also lead content repurposing efforts, turning long-form assets into engaging, channel-specific content. Proficiency in LinkedIn and other organic marketing tactics is essential, as is your ability to confidently represent marketing in cross-functional team meetings.
What you'll do
- Plan, manage, and execute events—webinars, client-facing sessions, and co-marketing activations—handling all logistics and maintaining key external relationships.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients and guest speakers involved in marketing initiatives and events.
- Repurpose existing content (e.g. event videos, interviews, case studies) into engaging articles, social content, blogs, and email copy.
- Manage and grow our presence on LinkedIn and other organic channels, focusing on content that resonates with our audience.
- Develop and execute email marketing campaigns aimed at engaging prospective clients and nurturing leads.
- Represent marketing in internal meetings, clearly communicating plans, performance, and needs.
- Track campaign performance and content metrics to refine strategies and improve impact.
- Occasionally travel for select in-person events or meetings.
What you'll bring
- 4–6 years of experience in B2B marketing, ideally in a fast-paced or agency environment.
- Demonstrated success in managing events and maintaining positive relationships with clients and partners.
- Proven ability to extract value from existing content and repurpose it for multiple platforms and audiences.
- Strong working knowledge of LinkedIn for content marketing and audience engagement.
- Familiarity with CRM and marketing tools like HubSpot.
- Excellent communication, project management, and collaboration skills.
- Comfortable working autonomously and representing marketing perspectives within a wider team.
