We’re currently looking for a Software Developer to join us in a fully remote role.
About the Role
As a Senior Software Developer at Borders & Gates, you be driving our technical initiatives and managing development projects. You will oversee the design and delivery of high-quality software solutions, manage both internal and client-facing projects, and play a key role in advancing our digital services. This role requires strong technical expertise, communications skills, and the ability to translate business needs into efficient, scalable software systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and implement robust web and mobile applications.
Lead and manage the development team to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
Communicate directly with clients to gather requirements, provide progress updates, and ensure satisfaction.
Manage internal software development, automation, and system improvement initiatives.
Conduct code reviews, testing, and quality assurance to maintain coding standards and best practices.
Collaborate cross-functionally with UI/UX designers, QA specialists, and business teams.
Oversee project timelines, scope, and deliverables to meet business objectives.
Research and adopt emerging technologies to enhance our products and processes.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field.
Minimum 1-3 years of professional software development experience.
Proven experience managing development projects.
Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks (e.g., JavaScript, Python, PHP, React, Node.js, etc.).
Strong understanding of databases, APIs, and cloud environments.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
