Machine Learning Engineer

Bloom & Wild is a direct-to-consumer flower business that aims to create a more thoughtful and beautiful life. We're seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join our team and help us architect, implement, and maintain production-grade ML services for ranking models, recommendation algorithms, and forecasting methods.

Requirements

• Solid foundation in traditional ML techniques and the model lifecycle
• Practical expertise in handling class imbalance, tuning hyperparameters, and resolving common pitfalls like overfitting
• Strong programming skills in Python for delivering production-ready, well-structured and documented code
• Experience with large datasets and proficiency with SQL, Snowflake, and dbt
• Curiosity about customer needs and a data-driven approach to solving problems
• Ability to thrive in collaborative environments and work effectively with a range of people and teams
