Senior DevOps Engineer

BlackStone eIT, a leading computer software company, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior DevOps Engineer at BlackStone eIT, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable and secure infrastructure, streamlining development and deployment processes, and ensuring the smooth operation of our software products.

In this role, you will collaborate closely with our development and operations teams to automate and optimize our software development lifecycle. You will design and implement CI/CD pipelines, configure and manage cloud infrastructure, and develop monitoring and alerting systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in DevOps practices, cloud technologies, and experience with agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure scalability, reliability, and security
• Automate and manage the software development and deployment processes
• Configure and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient software delivery
• Implement and manage monitoring, logging, and alerting systems for optimal system performance
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, identifying root causes and implementing preventive measures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of software products
• Establish and enforce security best practices to protect our infrastructure and data
• Document infrastructure and processes for knowledge sharing and future reference

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
• Strong knowledge and experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
• Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Solid understanding of networking, security, and monitoring principles
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Python, Bash, or similar technologies
• Experience working in an agile environment and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proven ability to lead and mentor junior team members
