We are hiring a full-stack Senior Brand & Creative Designer who can take a brand from zero to full expression — identity, storytelling, customer-facing assets, digital presence, and repeatable content systems. This is a strategic and hands-on role for someone who understands how design, messaging, and visual systems come together to communicate a brand clearly and consistently across every channel.
If you excel at building brands that feel cohesive everywhere — decks, social, email, web, and more — this role is built for you.
Position Overview
You will lead creative for BlackBox and our clients by building end-to-end brand systems and producing the visual assets that bring those systems to life. This includes brand identity, pitch decks, content frameworks, websites, social media systems, and email campaign design.
We’re looking for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, can work across multiple industries, and understands both the aesthetics and strategic purpose behind each asset.
Core Responsibilities
1. Brand Identity & Visual Systems
Build complete brand kits (logos, typography, color, iconography, layout systems, tone-of-voice alignment).
Translate a brand’s strategy into a cohesive visual identity and design language.
Maintain and evolve client brand systems over time.
2. Customer-Facing Assets & Pitch Materials
Design high-impact pitch decks, case studies, and client presentations.
Create modular visual frameworks so the team can quickly assemble new assets.
Produce polished presentation templates in Google Slides
Nice to have -> contribute to copy direction (not required but a major advantage).
3. Email Campaign Design
Create flexible email design systems and templates for newsletters, automations, marketing sequences, and outbound campaigns.
Ensure all campaigns align to the brand’s story and visual identity.
4. Social Media Design (Content & Systems)
Build fully reusable template systems for LinkedIn, Instagram, and other channels.
Create ready to post content
Own visual execution for clients’ social brands — ensuring consistency in posts, carousels, graphics, announcements, and promotional creatives.
Understand how visual hierarchy and messaging work together to carry a brand across social platforms.
5. Web Design (4–6 Page Sites)
Design and launch simple, high-clarity websites that communicate:
Who the client is
What they offer / problem statement they address
Why it matters / business impact of our offer
Ensure the site’s visuals, layout, and messaging align to the brand identity.
Nice to Have
Experience designing physical merchandise (apparel, packaging, accessories, home goods, etc.)
Video Shorts, Motion design, or lightweight animation
Copywriting or creative direction background
What You Will Need to Succeed
4+ years experience in brand design, visual identity development, content systems, or creative direction.
A portfolio demonstrating:
Brand identity systems
Pitch decks and customer-facing presentations
Email or social design systems
Website design
Ability to manage multiple brands at once (agency/freelance experience preferred).
Strong skills in Figma; Adobe Creative Suite; Canva is a plus.
Highly organized file management and system-building mindset.
Ability to work independently, move quickly, and deliver clean, professional work consistently.
Why This Role Is Unique
This is not a typical “graphic designer” position. You will build the full visual expression of a brand, then carry it through every customer touchpoint:
identity → messaging messaging → decks → email → social → website → content systems.
If you are the type of designer who enjoys owning the creative ecosystem rather than producing one-off assets, you will thrive here.
