We are seeking a VP, Enterprise Sales to spearhead sales strategy for our e-commerce products, focusing on acquiring and nurturing new enterprise clients. This role involves leading a sales team, driving revenue growth including pipeline creation and progression, ensuring retention of customers through exceptional relationships and satisfaction, and accurately forecasting sales performance.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to the e-commerce sector, including understanding market trends, competitor analysis, and customer needs

  • Lead and manage the Enterprise Sales team, including setting sales goals, tracking progress, and ensuring the team meets its targets

  • Build and maintain relationships with key enterprise clients, often working personally with large clients to ensure their needs are met

  • Maintain a deep understanding of BC’s Enterprise products, including staying current on product developments and understanding how these products meet customer needs

  • Work closely with Marketing, Product, Engineering, and Support & Professional Services departments to align strategies and ensure client satisfaction

  • Focus on growing the company's revenue through new sales, upsells and cross-sales, and through ensuring high renewal rates among existing customers.

  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand into new markets or with new product offerings

  • Regularly analyze sales data and market trends to report to senior leadership and to make informed decisions

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and in media, building a network that can be leveraged for business growth

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field, or equivalent combination of work and education
  • 12+ year sales expertise preferably in technology, and/or software with deep understanding of the e-commerce industry

  • Strong leadership skills with at least 4 years leading through leaders

  • Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation and influence skills

  • Highly analytic and ability to forecast

  • Proven history of successfully, consistently leading teams to achieve quotas and objectives, within a complex client acquisition driven business in the mid-market or enterprise space

  • A high-energy professional with a strong knowledge of sales methodology, positive attitude, and a deep desire to develop people and grow their careers in a supportive, yet accountable, work environment

  • Ability to Think Big and plan for the future with imagination and wisdom

  • Ability to identify and creatively solve complex problems, including matters related to systems and sales processes

  • Capable of thoughtful yet rapid adaptation in response to changes in competitors, technologies, or market conditions

  • Excellent written/verbal communication and customer relationship skills are critical

  • Abile to forge strong bonds and work collaboratively with key external and internal partners such as Marketing, Business Development, Product, other Sales channels

  • Ethical - Customer focused and does the right things the right way every time

  • Excellent organization and time management skills

  • Keen understanding of and sales experience at a SaaS or eCommerce company strongly preferred

  • A passion for client service and satisfaction and are able to manage sensitive information and numerous details with ease

  • Able to develop and successfully execute S>M>A>R>T>E (excellence) sales plans with a positive outlook and a clear focus on quality and business performance

  • Techie - Sound knowledge of Salesforce as well as strong Internet, email, and electronic document management skills. A basic understanding of HTML, CSS and internet technologies (shopping carts, web hosting, email and online marketing tools) a big plus

  • Travel Flexible - Ability to travel domestically or internationally as needed (est. 10 - 16 weeks per year).
