Energy Campaigner in Poland

We are recruiting an Energy Campaigner to support our multi-country campaign with a special emphasis on Poland. The role involves developing winning strategies for Poland linked to our European campaign and supporting our coal campaign.

Requirements

• At least five years of experience working in the field of energy, climate and just transition
• Fluent in spoken and written Polish and English
• At least three years of experience in developing campaign strategies for civil society organisations and running campaigns
• Expertise and thorough understanding of the policy, dynamics and politics of the energy transition in Poland
• Solid understanding of the European coal sector
• Strong interpersonal skills, competency at facilitating and supporting the work of others, and the ability to build common cause and reach agreements among multi-organisational teams
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly, comprehensibly and concisely, and spokesperson experience
• Proficiency in using Google productivity tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, etc.)
• Highly organised and capable of balancing multiple priorities
• Confident working remotely with a broad range of people from different countries, cultures, and backgrounds
• Passionate about promoting a healthy, environmentally friendly, and fair society
