We’re looking for an Implementation Specialist to own the customer onboarding end-to-end. This is a foundational, hands-on role responsible for scoping onboarding, setting expectations, and executing account setup to get customers live quickly and correctly. You’ll work closely with Solutions Engineering and Customer Success while helping define how onboarding scales over time.
Ideally, you’ll have:
- 4+ years of experience in Email Ops, Marketing Ops, or previous SaaS onboarding experience
- Hands-on experience building email templates and or no-code / low-code web builders
- Working knowledge of HTML/CSS (editing, debugging, light customization)
- Experience configuring automations, triggers, and workflows
- Strong understanding of subscriber data models, custom fields, and CSV hygiene
- Experience with onboarding customers onto ESPs or marketing platforms

What you’ll be responsible for:
- Scope and manage customer onboarding timelines and deliverables
- Serve as the primary Implementation lead during onboarding
- Recreate and configure customer email templates based on provided examples
- Configure automations, triggers, and standard workflows
- Create and manage custom fields, segments, and preferences (within platform constraints) based on customers' provided data
- Support subscriber uploads and validate data structure
- Configure welcome and unsubscribe surveys and map responses to custom fields
- Identify when requirements fall outside the standard onboarding scope and set expectations accordingly
- Partner with internal teams to ensure a smooth go-live and handoff to Customer Success
