Barrick Gold Corporation is a leading mining company that produces gold and copper with operations in 16 sites across 13 countries worldwide. The company is headquartered in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and has a portfolio that encompasses some of the most prolific gold and copper districts globally. In 2023, Barrick produced approximately 4.05 million ounces of gold and 420 million pounds of copper, catering to operations that span across continents including North America, South America, Africa, and Asia. The company prides itself on having a diverse workforce while maintaining focus on sustainability and responsible mining practices.

Founded in 1983 by Peter Munk, Barrick has a rich history of growth and development, evolving from a North American oil and gas company into a major force in gold and copper mining.
