We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Growth and Retention Marketing Specialist to drive strategic demand-generation programs targeting state government healthcare agencies. This role requires a deep understanding of government healthcare programs, healthcare technology and services, and complex sales cycles within the public sector. The ideal candidate will be a proven growth marketer with expertise in multi-channel campaign execution, lead nurturing, and pipeline acceleration. You will collaborate closely with sales, product marketing, and government affairs to generate high-quality leads, nurture key accounts, and position Bamboo Health as the preferred partner for state healthcare agencies.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and execute integrated demand generation campaigns targeting state government healthcare agencies and their stakeholders.
  • Create and optimize multi-channel marketing programs, including account-based marketing (ABM), email, paid media, webinars, content syndication, and events.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to refine audience targeting, messaging, and campaign performance.
  • Collaborate with sales and product marketing to align demand generation efforts with go-to-market strategies, key messaging, and sales enablement materials.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance to optimize conversion rates, lead quality, and ROI, providing regular insights and reporting.
  • Support thought leadership initiatives, including white papers, case studies, and industry event participation, to enhance Bamboo Health’s position in the state healthcare space.
  • Engage with government relations and policy teams to ensure campaigns align with evolving state healthcare priorities and funding opportunities.

  • Gain a deep understanding of Bamboo Health’s solutions, key state government healthcare challenges, and the competitive landscape.
  • Launch initial growth and retention campaigns targeting state agencies.
  • Establish strong collaboration with sales, product marketing, and government relations teams.
  • Understand key industry relationships to create meaningful partnerships

In 6 months…

  • Optimize and scale growth and retention marketing programs based on data-driven insights.
  • Drive consistent, high-quality engagement for state government sales teams.
  • Develop targeted ABM strategies for key accounts in priority states.

In 12 months…

  • Demonstrate measurable pipeline influence.
  • Further Bamboo Health as a trusted partner for state government healthcare organizations.
  • Innovate and refine marketing strategies based on changing policy landscapes, funding opportunities, and state healthcare priorities.

What You Need:

  • 2-3 years of demand marketing experience in B2B healthcare technology, government healthcare, or public sector marketing.
  • Proven expertise in growth and retention marketing, ABM, and multi-channel marketing for complex sales cycles.
  • Deep understanding of state government healthcare programs, Medicaid, behavioral health initiatives, and policy-driven healthcare funding.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of judgment and creativity in designing innovative solutions.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product marketing, and policy teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in content creation and messaging for public sector audiences.
  • Self-motivated and highly detail-oriented, with a passion for driving measurable marketing impact.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly evolving environments.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote-first environment, ensuring high-quality virtual interactions with minimal distractions.
  • · Willingness to travel periodically for industry events, state meetings, and company conferences.
